The best time to transplant established plants is during the winter dormant season months of November to February. Newly purchased, container grown plants can be planted at any time.

Reply:The best times to transplant any plant is in the spring(After the frost has ceased) Mid May to early June. And in the Fall after you have cut it back(September) Be sure to keep it watered well after transplanting
