The leaves are falling and plant is drooping. What to do?

Hydrangea We recxeived a single stalk hydranges when wife was in hospital. 4 days and it appears to be dyin
Can't tell by your question if this is a plant or just a cut flower.





If the pot is light to lift, it needs water (browned leaves)............heavy, too much watering (yellow leaves).
Reply:that fast..??? I'll bet it's over watered.. check the soil. if it's wet, take off the pot cover (like decorative foil on the outside of the pot) and let the soil drain.
Reply:You are probably over watering it. Although sometimes plants do the same thing when they are underwatered. Hydranges do better in a dryer climate with sun. If you see the black spots you'll know it is over watered.
