Can anyone guide me through planting and caring for hydrangea in NE Texas. I will appreciate any help I can ge

They should be planted on the north side of your house for the best lighting. Hydrangea's like to have lots of water and will wilt quickly if allowed to dry out. They prefer a rich soil and the bed should be enhanced with compost before planting. In the winter once all the foilage has died cut them back to within a few inches of the ground and wait till spring. Make sure you are planting garden variety and not a florist variety. Hope this helps.
