Help, I have an unhappy hydrangea?

I found a hydrangea last year that was looking very sorry for itself. I rescued it, put it in my garden and it seemed to do quite well. However. this year it has taken a lot of abuse. My builder through a bucket of cement water over it! The first and second showing of nice green leaves got killed by frost and its looking rather ill. It has four stems of old wood and five or six small clumps of leaves at the base. I really need some advice as i don't know what to do for the best.

Please Help!

Help, I have an unhappy hydrangea?
I had to laugh at your question because it describes my only hydrangea exactly including the bucket of water. I have had mine for 4 years now and it really needs to be moved because it just doesn't seem to grow where it is. The one and only thing I have found to do for it is to give it a fertilizer for acid loving plants. It gives it the nutrition it needs and keeps it alive so far. i am sure others will give better tips but I had to add my 2 cents because of the familiarity of the problem.
Reply:give it some fertilizer to bring it back to life the fertilizer will help it alot and then water it with some miracle grow see if that helps.good luck.
